Day Stacker is an album made within the remains of a broken relationship, passing time to make new memories alone. Day Stacker is a brother album to the previous album I made quickly within the fast grief in the week after it all went to shit, named “LUTO” (Spanish for “grieving period” more or less) which is also found here on bandcamp but is less intentionally produced.
95% of the tracks on this album were recorded with a Zoom microphone in my home, mostly of pens dropping or shirt cuffs rubbing or plastic crinkling or mouths clicking and humming or the like and also a bit out in the streets, of the same, here in Ubrique, Spain and then modified a great deal to bring about the sound scapes you hear here. There is a modest amount of midi and also a couple of Creative Commons samples. Two samples that are not mine but were made by a friend and given to me also appear.
Made to be listened to with headphones. Please enjoy or not. Thanks.
